Finance Manager
Lunar Outpost is an industry leader in space robotics and planetary vehicles, dedicated to creating a permanent presence in space. They are seeking a Finance Manager to partner with engineering and leadership to deliver financial clarity and guide decision-making across major programs.

Responsibilities
Lead FP&A for multi-year engineering programs and corporate operations
Build and maintain project-based and investment models (IRR, cash-flow, sensitivity, cost-benefit)
Perform forecasting, budget management, and variance analysis across programs
Support pricing, proposals, and financial inputs for NASA/DoD or commercial contracts
Prepare financial reports and insights for leadership and external stakeholders
Improve financial processes, modeling practices, and automation across teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, or related field
5+ years in FP&A, program finance, or technical financial modeling
Hands-on experience with project financials, cash-flow forecasting, and IRR modeling
Strong skills in variance analysis and cost-factor sensitivity analysis
Ability to translate engineering/program requirements into financial plans
Experience managing budgets for complex, multi-disciplinary projects
High proficiency in Excel and financial modeling tools
Self-motivated, highly organized, and effective under deadlines
Excellent communication and time-management skills
U.S. Person
Preferred
Aerospace & Defense or government program finance experience
Familiarity with NASA, DoD, or milestone-based contracting structures
Experience with proposals, contract pricing, or cost volumes
Exposure to ERP/PLM/project tools (SAP, Deltek, NetSuite, JIRA, Bild)
CPA, CFA, FPAC, or similar certification
Startup or high-growth environment experience
