Responsibilities
Record and apply customer payments (ACH, wire, credit card, check) in NetSuite
Reconcile daily Stripe and credit card settlement activity
Assist with bank reconciliations related to customer deposits, daily cash activity, and AR-linked transactions
Maintain AR aging schedules; research and resolve unapplied cash, short payments, and on-account credits
Monitor Accounts Receivable balances and communicate with customers to resolve outstanding issues
Manage B2B reconciliation with vendors on a weekly basis
Support month-end close by reconciling the AR subledger to the general ledger
Assist with intercompany receivable reconciliations
Maintain a strong understanding of assigned general ledger areas
Support monthly and year-end close by gathering documentation and organizing files
Track renewals, business permits, licenses, and trademarks assigned
Identify and recommend process improvements for greater accuracy and efficiency
Support financial statement audits, prepare schedules, and compile audit support
Complete special projects as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
Familiarity with GAAP; knowledge of IFRS is a plus
Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Demonstrated discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
Proven ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work
Preferred
Experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems preferred
