Responsibilities

Hybrid Cloud Architecture : Lead and architect our growing hybrid cloud footprint, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness across AWS, GCP and on-premise environments
CI/CD Pipeline Optimization: Design, implement, and optimize robust and scalable CI/CD pipelines for Java (SpringBoot) and Python applications, leveraging Enterprise GitHub, ArgoCD, Jenkins, and other build/release tools
Infrastructure & Kubernetes Orchestration: Develop Infrastructure as Code solutions using Pulumi, Terraform, or CloudFormation. Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters (EKS, GCP, on-prem) with security best practices integrated throughout
Developer Productivity & AI Integration: Architect and develop Python-based tools and scripts to enhance developer workflows and enable teams to work at scale. Integrate Generative AI capabilities into development tooling and pipelines, including support for AI IDEs and model operationalization
Runtime & Framework Support: Support and optimize Java (Spring-based) and Python runtime environments for build, deployment, and delivery processes
Collaboration: Partner with engineering, quality, and management teams to provide technical guidance and leadership. Mentor team members and drive knowledge sharing across the organization

Qualification

Required

At least 3+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, infrastructure-focused, or software engineering roles
Advanced scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, Groovy, or GoLang for automation and tool development
Experience managing cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) including compute, networking, and storage services
Expert-level proficiency with Kubernetes and container orchestration (EKS, GKE) for deployment, management, and troubleshooting
In-depth knowledge of CI/CD systems (ArgoCD, Jenkins, Gradle/Maven) and advanced Git/GitOps experience
Experience with Infrastructure as Code solutions (Pulumi, Terraform, CloudFormation)
Strong problem-solving skills, ability to learn rapidly, and capacity to debug complex distributed systems
Solid understanding of Linux operating systems, networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, load balancing), and shell scripting
Bachelor's degree required in Computer Science, or a related subject area, or we may consider an equivalent industry experience

Preferred

Familiarity with Generative AI concepts and experience supporting AI/ML development environments and model operationalization
Experience maintaining and debugging Spring-based Java runtime environments is a plus
Experience with modern web services architectures is a plus
Experience with Cassandra, Kafka, Solr, Postgres, Redis is a plus
