Customer Service Associate (On Site - University Center, MI)
Delta College is seeking a Customer Service Associate to provide support in the bookstore. The role involves processing sales transactions, assisting customers, and managing inventory while fostering an inclusive environment.

Responsibilities
Process customer sales transactions
Operate cash registers, credit/debit card machines, refund registers
Buyback transactions and data entry for financial aid charges
Provide customer service to students, faculty and staff; answering phones, processing internal charges, desk copy requests, special orders, web orders and assistance in finding books, supplies and other merchandise
Receives incoming delivery of books, supplies and clothing
Unpacks cartons, inventories items, price items and stocks books and supplies and other merchandise
Provides clerical support as assigned
Works as assigned to provide coverage for staff vacancies and/or special events
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED
Less than 1 year of customer service experience
Preferred
One or more years of customer service experience
