Employment Litigation/Trial Attorney
Inveniam Search Consultants, Inc. is seeking an Employment Litigation/Trial Attorney with strong litigation experience in the Federal Employment/Business litigation space. The attorney will be responsible for litigating cases involving employment agreements, federal claims of discrimination and retaliation, and will primarily work in DC Federal courts.
Responsibilities
Reviewing employment agreements, severance agreements, management incentive plans, long-term incentive plans, when employees are in the office vs. not, non-competes, non-solicitation, sexual harassment, sexual offense in domestic violence and trauma conformed advocacy
Federal claims are largely discrimination, retaliation, and other federal statutes (the FMLA, FCA Sec. 3730 (h) – retaliation)
Qualification
Required
Strong litigation experience is required for this role
Experience in the Federal Employment/Business litigation space
Ability to review employment agreements, severance agreements, management incentive plans, long-term incentive plans, non-competes, non-solicitation agreements, and issues related to sexual harassment and domestic violence
Familiarity with federal claims related to discrimination, retaliation, and other federal statutes such as the FMLA and FCA Sec. 3730 (h) – retaliation
Preferred
Any level of trial exposure is an added plus
Trial experience as a litigator is strongly preferred
Experience leading jury trials and bench trials
