Responsibilities

Lead reporting analytics initiatives and drive enterprise-wide standardization of KPIs KRAs definitions and calculations across the insurance value chain Property and Casualty, MGAs

Own the end-to-end lifecycle from stakeholder discovery and data lineage mapping to KPI catalog design calculation logic validation and rollout ensuring analytics dashboards deliver trusted comparable insights for operational financial risk and customer outcomes

Define harmonize and govern KPIKRA frameworks across functions underwriting distribution claims policy servicing finance actuarial risk compliance and customer experience

Establish golden definitions calculation rules dimensional hierarchies’ thresholds and target bands for KPIs maintain a central KPI Catalog Metadata repository

Implement data quality rules lineage and validation procedures align with enterprise data governance and stewardship models

Lead metric rationalization deduplication consolidation versioning and coordinate change management across business units

Translate business goals into reporting requirements user stories and acceptance criteria prioritize product backlog with Product Owners

Design dimensional models and semantic layers for BI consumption partner with data engineering to source transform and certify datasets

Build or oversee development of dashboards scorecards and self-service analytics optimize for usability performance and trust

Define and implement metric testing UAT reconciliation with source systems policy admin claims CRM GL and post deployment monitoring

Facilitate workshops with business leaders to align on KPI definitions targets and accountability KRAs

Create executive ready narrative reports and insights highlighting trends driver’s variances and actions

Required

Insurance domain expertise: solid understanding of policy lifecycle underwriting pricing claims, reinsurance, distribution, and customer servicing

Reporting Analytics: 5 years delivering BI solutions and KPI frameworks in insurance services Insurance Operations or Finance

Data Skills: strong proficiency with SQL hands-on with enterprise BI Power BI preferred and data modeling concepts star snowflake schemas

Governance experience: defining metric standards data lineage quality rules DQ dimensions and metadata management

Stakeholder Leadership: proven track record influencing cross functional teams and senior stakeholders to adopt standardized metrics

KPIs KRAs Standardization Governance: Define harmonize and govern KPIKRA frameworks across functions underwriting distribution claims policy servicing finance actuarial risk compliance and customer experience

Insurance Systems Exposure: Policy administration systems, Claims management platforms, CRM, Finance GL systems Data warehouses lakes
