Responsibilities

Greet guests with enthusiasm and genuine friendliness as they arrive, making them feel valued from the moment they walk through the door

Manage reservations and walk-in seating efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring optimal table utilization

Maintain a clean and organized host stand, providing guests with menus, answering questions about the menu or restaurant policies

Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and smooth flow of service during busy hours

Handle guest inquiries over the phone with professionalism and courtesy, providing accurate information about wait times or reservations

Assist in managing waitlists and communicating estimated wait times clearly to guests

Uphold hospitality standards by demonstrating excellent communication skills, phone etiquette, and guest relations at all times

Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills to engage guests warmly and professionally

Prior experience as a host or host in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a positive attitude above all

Familiarity with food service operations, including basic knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous

Experience in hotel or guest services roles can be a plus, highlighting your ability to handle guest relations effectively
