Responsibilities
You'll architect and develop the hardware and software platforms that enables hundreds of engineers to discover, reserve, and utilize lab resources without conflicts or downtime
This means solving complex problems in resource orchestration, state management, and distributed systems—ensuring hardware is always available, properly configured, and ready when teams need it
Your work directly accelerates Leo's development velocity
By removing infrastructure bottlenecks and automating repetitive tasks, you enable both lab engineers to focus on high-value hardware work and development teams to ship faster without fighting over resources and ensuring their test environments mimic the actual satellites
Qualification
Required
Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure
Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
Experience with Linux/Unix
3+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Preferred
Experience with distributed systems at scale
