Responsibilities

Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, forecasting (net bookings, revenue, OI/fee and cash), and effectively managing financial risks and opportunities
Collaborate with program team and across Leidos functions to define program goals, establish budget, and prepare and maintain EAC by analyzing progress reported against the program baseline and ETC
Make recommendations to leadership for making business decisions and significant improvements in programs, processes, and solutions to enhance results
Proposal involvement (pricing and cost volume leadership) and building internal and external relationships to grow the program and achieve strategic goals
Continuously drive reporting process and system enhancements to increase speed, consistency and accuracy of KPI reporting, utilizing expert knowledge of and ability to apply advanced principles, and concepts of a professional family
Support ad-hoc cost reporting and performance analysis

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting OR related field and 8+ years of experience OR a Master's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience
Able to perform functions such as financial planning, financial analysis, and general accounting
Must be able to extract data from multiple sources and effectively summarize the current financial position of the program
Have expert knowledge of the project finance field and the ability to complete difficult and complex assignments independently
Be committed to customer service, be well organized, be able to plan and prioritize assignments, and be able to successfully handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, be courteous and professional
Have the ability to work with remote teams and in a fast-paced environment
Propose and implement project/program improvements
Strong background in the entire Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Excel, particularly in the development of formulas, v-lookups, and macros
Demonstrate advanced analytical skills
Positive can-do attitude, excellent communication, and problem solving skills
US Citizenship is required
Able to obtain at minimum Public Trust security clearance

Preferred

Knowledge of Leidos Financial Systems such as Costpoint, Oracle Analytics Cloud, Cognos, Power BI, and ServiceNow
Microsoft Excel (Advanced Level)
