Wieland Group is a global leader in copper and copper alloy manufacturing, processing, and distribution. They are hiring a Procurement Intern to gain an understanding of strategic and operational procurement processes and to support various teams including Capex, Indirect Procurement, Direct Procurement, and Logistics.

Responsibilities

Support Operational Buyers, Strategic Buyers, and Logistics on key projects and initiatives

Analyze data and generate reports as requested by the Procurement team

Prepare and present materials and other documentation using MS Office tools and other systems

Research market, suppliers, etc

Additional tasks as needed

Qualification

Required

Pursuing a degree in Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain, or other business/operations-focused discipline

Problem-solving skills

Experience using MS Office Suite

Desire to learn & grow in a fast-paced environment
