R&D Translational Pathology - Undergrad Intern Summer 2026

Responsibilities

Implement image analysis algorithms on whole slide scans of tumor tissue for biomarker characterization
Define spatial association of immune subsets and tumor cells in tumor biopsies using high-order multiplex immunofluorescence (mIF)
Determine the biological status of cells based on their transcriptional signature using spatial transcriptomics
Combine novel approaches to integrate technologies on a single tissue section

Required

18 years or older
Currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelor's Degree program from an accredited college or university with a 3.0 minimum GPA or equivalent
Completion of one year of study from an accredited college or university prior to the internship commencing
Enrolled in a full-time Bachelor's degree program following the potential internship with an accredited college or university
Must not be employed at the time the internship starts
Student must be located in the United States for the duration of the internship

Preferred

Degree concentration in Biological Sciences
Working knowledge of basic histology preferred but not required
Knowledge of immunohistochemistry techniques
Some programming experience in modern data science languages (R/Python/Julia/similar) is preferred but not required
Experience with image analysis is preferred but not required
