Project managing the post-sale order management function for Shentel’s fiber sales team
The coordination of multiple groups including Sales, Engineering, Operations and Customer Service to ensure service is delivered quickly and billing commences immediately, with accuracy
Frequently works with customers and governmental institutions (USAC) to analyze issues preventing accurate order completion and revenue realization in determining the best options to resolve such problems in a self-directed manner
Qualification
Required
At least Five (5) years' customer service or equivalent experience
3 or more years of managing complex projects
Experience with CommV or other proprietary telecommunications billing systems
Strong business and interpersonal communication skills
Self-motivated with the ability to deal tactfully and effectively with customers and other Shentel employees
Valid Driver's license and clean driving record
Proficient with Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, Sharepoint and PowerPoint
Proficient with Adobe Acrobat PRO
Strong MS Office, Excel, Access and quantitative abilities
Highly skilled problem solving ability (quantitative, conceptual, analytical)
Exposure to general technology trends influencing the telecommunications industry
Preferred
AS degree in Business or a related field
Previous telecommunication experience
Experience with Federal telecommunication programs
