Responsibilities
Maintain, diagnose, and repair industrial refrigeration systems, including ammonia and/or Freon-based systems
Conduct preventive maintenance on compressors, condensers, evaporators, pumps, and valves
Monitor system performance and promptly respond to alarms and emergency situations
Ensure full compliance with OSHA, EPA, IIAR, and food safety standards
Safely manage refrigerants while maintaining accurate logs and documentation
Assist with system startups, shutdowns, modifications, and upgrades
Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to reduce downtime and improve efficiency
Participate in on-call rotations and emergency response activities
Qualification
Required
5+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience (food or beverage manufacturing preferred)
Strong experience with PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar)
Hands-on experience with VFDs, servos, motors, and automation systems
Ability to troubleshoot 480V, 3-phase systems
Experience with HMIs and industrial networking a plus
Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in hot, cold, or wet environments
Strong attention to safety and documentation
Preferred
Electrical license or certification preferred (state or journeyman level)
