Associate Financial Planner
J BLACK FINANCIAL GROUP is a successful and rapidly growing boutique wealth management firm, seeking an Associate Financial Planner to join their dynamic team. This role is essential in supporting the wealth management team and enhancing the client experience by ensuring every interaction is positive and supportive.
Responsibilities
Build fluency in JBFG's wealth management approach to actively pursue growth and promotion through the JBFG Wealth Management Enduring Vision Pathway career path
Support wealth management team
Draft fee-based plan discovery letters, plans, existing client plan updates and recommendations
Perform AA, AL analysis and rebalancing reports
Prepare materials for client meetings
Gather statements, benefits booklets, etc. for fee-based plans
Prepare and update client meeting agendas
Complete recaps, case notes and tasks
Completes client financial plan updates and provides synopsis
Answer routine service requests and client questions
Qualification
Required
Bachelors' Degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience
Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
Strong verbal and written communication
Ability to follow through and execute on company objectives
Always do what's in the client's best interest
Professionalism, high standards and diligence
Champions positivity in a fun, collaborative, energic team environment

Has GRIT
Maintains highest levels of client confidentiality
Experience in the Wealth Management, Financial Planning or Investment industry
Preferred
Life & Health insurance license
Industry licenses: 6, 63, 65, 7
Familiarity with 15Five, Microsoft Systems (Outlook, OneDrive, OneNote, Excel)
