Employee Assistance Program Manager
Northwell Health is seeking an Employee Assistance Program Manager to plan and coordinate activities in support of the Employee Assistance Program and Physician Resource Network operations. The role involves managing department activities, developing policies and procedures, and overseeing daily operations to ensure established goals are met.

Responsibilities
Manages, plans and coordinates department activities in support of Employee Assistance Program and Physician Resource Network goals and objectives; provides oversight and guidance of Employee Assistance Program and Physician Resource Network activities across the organization
Manages daily department operations including scheduling and related staff functions
Develops and maintains policies and procedures ensuring efficient departmental operation, including Substance Abuse Operating procedure, Employee Emergency Catastrophic Service, Substance Misuse policy and procedure, Domestic Violence and Violence in the Workplace procedures and Employee Assistance Program and Physician Resource Network protocols
Makes recommendations for improvement as necessary
Develops training materials, handbooks, brochures and in-service programs
Assists in preparation of departmental budgets and maintains financial files
Manages contracts with outside vendors and organization Accounts payable department
Researches best practices for Employee Assistance Program and incorporates with wellness program objectives and strategy
Assists with marketing and community outreach programs including Employee Assistance Program fairs and networking
Operates under general guidance and work assignments are varied and require interpretation and independent decisions on course of action

Qualification
Required
Master's degree level required, or Bachelor's/MBA with comparable experience
1 - 3 years of experience in social services related field(s)
Preferred
Program management experience, strongly preferred
