Responsibilities
Own the company’s external voice end-to-end: positioning, messaging, and narrative
Write and shape long-form content, thought leadership, launches, and core site copy
Work directly with founders, researchers, and engineers to turn complex work into clear stories
Help define what this category is
Build early content systems and workflows while staying hands-on
Decide what not to say as much as what to say
Qualification
Required
Exceptional writing and editorial judgment
Experience translating technical products (AI, developer tools, infra, research-heavy systems) into credible narratives
Comfort operating in ambiguity and building from first principles
Strong taste. you know when something is oversold, vague, or wrong
Ownership mindset: you ship, iterate, and figure things out without waiting for permission
Experience in early-stage or high-intensity environments is a big plus
