Administrative Assistant III - Behavioral Health

Forest County Potawatomi Community is seeking an Administrative Assistant III for their Behavioral Health department. The role involves providing administrative support to various directors and managers, maintaining records, assisting in research and report generation, and serving as a liaison with internal and external departments.

Government Administration

Responsibilities

Provides a range of administrative support to Behavioral Health Clinical Director, Behavioral Health Manager, Prevention and Recovery Program Manager, Transitional Living House, and all Behavioral Health Programs; composes and edit memos, letters, grant monitoring and record keeping, and email correspondences
Demonstrates knowledge of Department programs, operational structure, policies, and procedures to assist employees and candidates
Maintains records and prepares a range of administrative reports and documents
Assists in research, report generation, process identification and policy development
Serves as department's primary administrative and operational liaison with internal and external departments/agencies; monitors and maintains schedules
Arranges and attends meetings, events, conferences, and various other appointments
May take meeting minutes as assigned
Assists with the development and tracking of contracts; prepares legal requests
Monitors, reconciles, and assists with fiscal administration for the department, including but not limited to budgets, funding, grants, contracts, payroll, employment, travel, and/or purchasing; may assist with fiscal planning, including participating in seeking alternative sources of funding

Required

High School Diploma and 10 years of administrative experience -OR- associate degree and 3 years of administrative experience -OR- bachelor's degree and 2 years of administrative experience
Must successfully pass all applicable background checks and drug screens
FCP complies with all CDC vaccine and testing recommendations for healthcare professionals. Proof of immunizations is required and immunizations/testing provided upon hire

Preferred

High School Diploma and 5 years of administrative experience -OR- associate degree and 3 years of administrative experience -OR- bachelor's degree and 1 year of administrative experience
