Responsibilities
Conduct regular security assessments, including vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and risk analysis
Monitor, detect, and respond to incidents using advanced analytics and AI-assisted tools to accelerate detection and response
Contribute to developing autonomous detection and remediation workflows that reduce manual intervention
Collaborate with IT, engineering, and leadership to integrate security across infrastructure and development workflows
Implement and manage security controls in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Develop and maintain security automation processes to improve response time and consistency
Establish and enforce security policies and procedures aligned with frameworks such as NIST, CIS Controls, and ISO 27001
Provide security awareness and incident response training to strengthen organizational readiness
Support the secure integration and governance of AI systems, ensuring protection of model data and training pipelines
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Security Engineer or similar role with strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, network defense, and incident response
Experience with security assessments, automation, and cloud security practices
Familiarity with SIEM, SOAR, or EDR platforms and AI-supported detection or analytics tools
Understanding of compliance frameworks (NIST, CIS Controls, ISO 27001)
Experience implementing and managing controls in AWS, GCP, or Azure
Strong communication and collaboration skills with technical and leadership teams
Preferred
5+ years in cybersecurity engineering, focusing on enterprise or SaaS infrastructure security
Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP, or equivalent
Experience with automation and scripting (Python, PowerShell, or Bash)
Familiarity with AI-assisted or behavioral analytics tools for threat detection
Experience securing containerized or microservices architectures (Docker, Kubernetes)
Awareness of emerging AI and cybersecurity regulations such as the NIST AI Risk Management Framework or EU AI Act
