Responsibilities
Certifies veteran students and ensures their compliance and progress toward degree
Responsible for understanding all federal/state rules and regulations as they relate to VA benefits and veteran services
Serves as the contact for VA benefit and regulation questions
Processes forms and requests for the Registrar’s office including major/minor declarations, withdrawal forms, late registration, repeat, personal information updates, transcript requests, and enrollment and degree verification requests
Transfers credit evaluations during peak periods
Assists students as needed via email, phone, and one-on-one meetings
Manages the office email account and serves as an initial point of contact to the University for various constituents
Assists in the day-to-day functions of the Office of the Registrar and performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions
Preferred
Experience with the following programs/software: Banner Student
Experience with the following programs/software: DegreeWorks
Experience with the following programs/software: Argos
Experience with the following programs/software: Excel
Knowledge of University/Higher Education practices and policies
Knowledge of FERPA regulations
Strong communication skills
