Senior Salesforce Product Owner / Lead Engagement Product Owner
Sciata is seeking a Senior Salesforce Product Owner / Lead Engagement Product Owner to lead and evolve Salesforce capabilities within a large enterprise environment. This role will focus on Salesforce Sales Cloud and expand into Service Cloud, managing the end-to-end customer lifecycle and delivering measurable business value.

Responsibilities
Own and evolve the Salesforce product roadmap for Lead Management and downstream engagement capabilities
Serve as the primary Product Owner for Salesforce Sales Cloud, with phased ownership of Service Cloud
Define product objectives, success criteria, and KPIs in partnership with leadership
Translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlogs
Identify current-state and future-state workflows, gaps, and optimization opportunities
Partner with senior Product Owners, business SMEs, engineering, and architecture teams to develop epics, stories, and delivery plans
Assess technical flows, integrations, and downstream impacts to inform sound product decisions
Manage and prioritize enhancements, defect remediation, and technical debt reduction initiatives
Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure effective Scrum-based delivery
Maintain Salesforce roadmaps, milestones, and delivery plans, tracking target vs. actual progress
Lead and facilitate cross-functional and cross-product collaboration to drive alignment and execution
Support UAT, release readiness, and informed handoff to training teams as needed
Promote and champion Salesforce adoption with front-end users
Communicate progress, risks, and recommendations clearly to steering committees and senior leadership
Qualification
Required
Hands-on Salesforce experience: Sales Cloud (required)
Proven Product Owner experience, including: User story writing, Backlog grooming and prioritization, Agile/Scrum delivery
Strong technical fluency (not a developer), with the ability to: Understand system integrations and data flows, Anticipate downstream impacts of design decisions
Experience supporting live, enterprise-scale platforms, including: Feature enhancements, Defect triage, Technical debt remediation
Curiosity (Non-Negotiable): Asks 'why before proposing solutions, Thoughtfully challenges assumptions
Strong Stakeholder Balance: Pushes back on business requests with credibility and diplomacy, Avoids being a 'yes-person or a rigid platform purist
Enterprise-Level Thinking: Understands the difference between enterprise standards and legitimate business-unit exceptions
Executive-Ready Communication: Comfortable preparing and presenting materials for senior leadership, Able to synthesize complexity into clear, decision-ready narratives
Preferred
Service Cloud (strongly preferred)
Insurance industry experience (auto, life, travel, or sales operations)
Prior experience in sales or call-center environments
Background modernizing legacy systems within large, complex enterprises
