Required

Current Texas A&M International University Student in STEM-related discipline
The student must be a Junior or Senior
Enrolled at least half-time, 6 credit hours per semester for undergraduate
Maintain a TAMIU overall GPA of 3.0 for undergraduate students
Must meet all other requirements as stated in TAMIU's Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy (SAPP)
Proficiency in use of personal computer workstation with common software applications
Ability to organize and multitask functions to ensure compliance with deadlines
Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing
Excellent interpersonal relationship and communication skills
Ability to interact effectively and professionally with university students, staff, and the general public
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to prepare and conduct an engineering experiment, present their finding, and deliver conclusions
Problem analysis and problem-solving skills
Ability to learn and use multiple software programs
Position requires on campus, face-to-face interactions
Position requires maintaining a regular schedule of attendance on campus and in the workplace
Work schedules are created by the department based on departmental needs but ensure it does not conflict with class schedule
The position may require evening and/or weekend hours as necessary
The position requires keeping a work schedule of 10-19 hours per week; this position is temporary as it is subjected to funding and/or need
Promptly complete all required training
Submit time sheet biweekly

Applicants are subject to a criminal history investigation, and employment is contingent upon the institution's verification of credentials and/or other information required by the institution's procedures, including the completion of the criminal history check

Preferred
