Responsibilities
Manage a full caseload of family law matters from intake to completion
Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
Represent clients in hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials
Provide regular client updates and strategic legal counsel
Collaborate with paralegals and junior legal staff to advance case progress
Participate in internal case reviews, team meetings, and performance tracking
Handle settlement disbursements, liens, and third-party resolutions as needed
Maintain accurate case documentation in the firm’s case management system
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Active member in good standing with the Georgia Bar
Minimum 2 years of experience practicing law
Strong oral advocacy and legal writing skills
Excellent time management and case prioritization abilities
Positive, team-oriented attitude and ability to work independently
Preferred
3+ years of family law experience
Bilingual (Spanish or other language)
