They are seeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation Attorney to represent employers, insurers, and third-party administrators in workers’ compensation matters from inception through resolution, while collaborating with seasoned litigators in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

Represent employers, insurers, and third-party administrators in workers’ compensation matters from inception through resolution
Handle all aspects of workers’ compensation litigation, including hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials
Provide strategic legal counsel to clients regarding claims management, risk exposure, and litigation strategy
Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement agreements
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, judges, and administrative agencies
Stay current on workers’ compensation statutes, regulations, and case law across applicable jurisdictions
Collaborate with colleagues across offices to deliver consistent, high-quality legal representation

Qualification

Required

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active bar license in at least one Southeastern state (additional licensure a plus)
5+ years of workers' compensation experience
Demonstrated litigation experience, including hearings and motion practice
Strong analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills
Ability to manage a caseload independently while meeting deadlines
Client-focused mindset with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
