Responsibilities

Help lead efforts to establish a cohesive design vision and culture as we expand UpToDate Expert AI’s capabilities and deliver intuitive experiences across multiple platforms and touchpoints

Demonstrate a track record of developing useful and intuitive interfaces

Be prepared to speak about the processes used to develop solutions and the specific role played in these processes

Required

10 years of experience working as a Lead UX designer – ideally within an agile environment

Familiar with principles of Lean Product and Lean UX

Hands-on experience building mobile web and native apps

Ability to build trusted relationships and act as a liaison among the UX, product, clinical, and technology teams to ensure standards of excellence are met

Ability to work with limited guidance and make decisions independently is a must

Bachelor's degree (BA) from a four-year college or university (or equivalent) in Interaction Design, Product Design, Industrial Design, Human Computer Interaction, Communication & Multimedia Design/Media Technology, Information Architecture or related field

Experience working with design systems and familiar with creating UX patterns

Experience adhering to WCAG compliance and standards

Mastered design software such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite

Knowledge of agile software development processes and experience with requirements management and complex projects

Solid understanding of HTML5 and CSS3
