AZCO is seeking a Construction Intern to support the Construction Coordinators and Project Management team. The role involves assisting in planning, coordinating on-site functions, maintaining project records, and building relationships with clients and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

Adhere to the company's safety programs and policies and assist others with compliance

Assist in the planning and coordinating of on-site functions including, but not limited to, the following: scheduling, engineering, material control, procurement, safety and provide day to day support to project foremen and superintendents

Maintain all records including jobsite master schedule, document control log, change order log, time keeping, and field project files

Initiate the purchase order process and rent and manage equipment procurement. Assist coordinators to ensure adequate inventory for project

Assist the Project team in building relationships with client, craft, and other subcontractors

Assist the Project team with craft training and jobsite activities as needed

Complies with all policies and standards

Performs other duties as assigned

Required

Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related degree

Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access)

Strong written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail

Ability to handle large volumes of work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently (i.e., without time limitations, without restrictions or without need for work sponsorship) in the country where this position is located

Must be available to travel to an undetermined project location for the duration of internship
