Responsibilities

Identify contract specifications, grades, and procurement of ocean freight

Book, negotiate, and manage truck freight execution against FOB contracts

Work with inventory management, shipment tracking, and reporting

Control, process, and dispute supplier and carrier invoices where appropriate

Work with suppliers to trouble shoot daily transloading and execution challenges

Understand the various market drivers for the various types of transportation modes

Complete a strategic supply chain plan or equivalent value-added project to complete the internship program

Maintenance of personal calendar in Outlook to enable coordination and communication with colleagues
