NEP Group, Inc. is looking for a Buyer to join their Shared Services Purchasing team, supporting purchasing activities for NEP’s U.S. operations. Responsibilities
Support purchasing needs across multiple NEP teams by helping convert approved requests into purchase orders
Partner with preferred and contracted suppliers to help ensure timely delivery and strong overall value
Assist with small and mid-scale sourcing projects, gaining exposure to supplier selection and pricing discussions
Build and maintain positive working relationships with suppliers and internal partners
Work within ERP systems to support purchasing, rentals, and related transactions
Help resolve purchasing issues such as delivery discrepancies, invoicing questions, or order changes
Monitor supply chain activity and assist with identifying potential risks or disruptions
Learn and develop knowledge of commodities, suppliers, and industry best practices
Review supplier performance related to quality, delivery, and service expectations
Communicate order confirmations, updates, and delays clearly to stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
1–3 years of purchasing, buying, or supply chain experience preferred
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel (intermediate skills a plus)
Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities
Comfort learning new systems and processes
Willingness to take initiative and grow within the role
Interest in working in a supportive, team-oriented environment
