Responsibilities
Take bulk rolls from the coaters to the respective location (SAI trailers or WIP locations) while performing all necessary transactions
Load trailers with bulk roll material that needs to be shipped out to the network while performing all necessary systems transactions
Receive incoming bulk roll material from the network while performing all the system transactions and quality checks
Conduct daily and weekly cycle counts
Move trailers in and out of dock doors while following dock door safety protocols
Follow all health, safety, and housekeeping procedures, policies and practices and consistently work in a safe manner with regard to self, co-workers, and manufacturing systems
Qualification
Required
Minimum education of high school diploma or 3+ years of manufacturing experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Have general knowledge and be able to work with computers and programs (G Suite Applications, Oracle, OTM, etc.)
Willingness to act as an additional material handling resource by taking a hands-on approach to day-to-day inbound/outbound/production activities
Must regard safety as a core value; must serve as a role model for other employees and encourage adherence to safety practices, policies and procedures
Must be able to actively contribute in a team based environment, encourage open communication and positive interaction with peers and management to effectively reach a common goal
Must have a strong service and quality focus, be able to address issues effectively when problems arise, and take the initiative to understand the root cause then communicate/educate team in a timely manner
Must have demonstrated record of flexibility and dependability in order to support material handling operations and a strong customer focus
Must have a strong detail orientation and be able to follow written and oral instructions
Must be able to lift / push / pull up to 50 lbs
Preferred
3-5 years of experience in manufacturing/logistics in a similar production environment
Track record of participating in continuous improvement initiatives
Time Management skills, ability to work with teams, or autonomously
Track record of following Lean manufacturing processes
Forklift experience highly preferred
