Responsibilities
Collaborating with Product Owners and other engineering disciplines on technical approaches
Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
Analyzing context of deliverable solution against constraints and available technology
Exercising independent judgment on software architecture, methods, and techniques to achieve results
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science degree in System Engineering or related discipline and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience
Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
Demonstrated knowledge of engineering principles and practices
Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
Thorough understanding of requirements management, systems design, systems integration, and Verification and Validation (VandV) principles
Knowledge of industry standard Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) approaches and tools
Experience in development, integration, and test of software systems
The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
