Senior Network Telecom Engineer
Bradley Professional is seeking a Senior Telecom Network Engineer to design, implement, and support a service provider network in Eastern North Carolina. This role is crucial for delivering reliable voice, video, broadband, and transport services through scalable network architectures.
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and support service provider network infrastructure (routers, switches, access and transport equipment)
Support IP planning, routing architecture, VLANs, security, and high-availability protocols
Configure, document, and troubleshoot intermediate-to-complex network changes
Monitor network performance and proactively resolve issues
Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and consultants on network solutions
Mentor junior engineers and support lower-level engineering tasks
Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation and scheduled maintenance windows
Qualification
Required
CCNA or JNCIA with 8+ years of service provider network experience (CCNP preferred)
Strong knowledge of MPLS, BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, EVPN, and network security
Willingness to work off-hours, weekends, holidays, and overnight maintenance windows
Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship)
