Responsibilities
Prepare and submit U.S. Customs entries in compliance with all CBP regulations
Review shipping documents (commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, etc.) for accuracy and completeness
Classify merchandise using HTS codes and ensure proper valuation
Communicate with customers, carriers, and government agencies regarding shipments and documentation
Track and resolve entry issues, discrepancies, and customs holds
Maintain accurate records and documentation within internal systems
Provide professional customer service support related to import shipments
Qualification
Required
1-3 years of experience as a Customs Entry Writer or in a related import/compliance role
2-3 years of customer service experience, preferably within logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain
Familiarity with U.S. Customs regulations and import procedures
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, and Excel
Preferred
CargoWise experience
