Mid LevelYochana is seeking a Project Engineer – Electrical Commissioning to play a critical role in ensuring the successful commissioning of electrical systems in mission-critical environments such as data centers. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in electrical system design, construction, and commissioning processes, and will be responsible for executing commissioning activities and coordinating with project teams.

Responsibilities
Commission electrical distribution equipment and controls, including medium-voltage systems
Review electrical system designs for compliance with client requirements and project goals
Assist in developing commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules
Execute commissioning activities from design through occupancy phases
Attend and document factory acceptance testing (FAT) of equipment
Perform functional and performance testing using appropriate instrumentation
Document all field procedures, results, and observations accurately
Prepare detailed reports on system performance and recommend technical solutions
Coordinate and execute field activities with project teams and stakeholders
Maintain daily commissioning logs and reports
Mentor and support Associate Project Engineers
Respond promptly and professionally to client and team inquiries
Ensure compliance with all safety standards and protocols
Qualification
Required
Proactive, detail-oriented professional with strong technical expertise in electrical system design, construction, and commissioning processes
Theoretical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in testing, troubleshooting, and validating electrical systems and controls
Ability to commission electrical distribution equipment and controls, including medium-voltage systems
Experience in reviewing electrical system designs for compliance with client requirements and project goals
Ability to assist in developing commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules
Experience executing commissioning activities from design through occupancy phases
Ability to attend and document factory acceptance testing (FAT) of equipment
Experience performing functional and performance testing using appropriate instrumentation
Ability to document all field procedures, results, and observations accurately
Experience preparing detailed reports on system performance and recommending technical solutions
Ability to coordinate and execute field activities with project teams and stakeholders
Experience maintaining daily commissioning logs and reports
Ability to mentor and support Associate Project Engineers
Ability to respond promptly and professionally to client and team inquiries
Knowledge of compliance with all safety standards and protocols
Preferred
Knowledge of Generators and Paralleling Switchgear
Knowledge of Transformers (High/Medium/Low Voltage)
Knowledge of UPS and Battery Systems
Knowledge of Switchgear and Main Switchboards
Knowledge of PLC and Switching Controls
Knowledge of EPMS, ATS, STS, PDU, RPP, Busways
Knowledge of Grounding and Lighting Control Systems
