They are seeking a Senior Architect to lead project development, manage design processes, and ensure compliance with NYC codes for public agency projects.

Construction

Responsibilities

Lead project development from concept through construction administration, ensuring compliance with NYC codes and public agency requirements
Manage design and documentation processes using AutoCAD and Revit/BIM, maintaining a high level of detail and accuracy
Oversee junior staff, providing guidance on technical execution and project coordination
Navigate NYC zoning, building codes, Local Law 11, and ADA regulations to ensure project compliance
Manage project budgets and schedules while coordinating with consultants, contractors, and client representatives
Interface with NYC and state agencies, demonstrating a strong understanding of public sector project requirements

Qualification

Registered Architect (RA)AutoCADRevit/BIMNYC Public Agency ExperienceProject ManagementMicrosoft OfficeAdobe SuiteLeadershipCommunicationOrganizational Skills

Required

Registered Architect (RA) in NY
7-15 years of experience in architectural design and project management
Direct experience with NYC and/or NY State public agency projects is required
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture

Preferred

K-12/Higher Education experience is strongly preferred
