New Grad, Entry LevelFacebook is seeking a Claims Clerk I to join their team at BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina. The role involves processing claims in a timely manner, screening, coding, and keying claims into the claims system according to departmental standards and regulations.

Responsibilities
Screen, code and key claims to ensure proper and accurate adjudication of claims in accordance with departmental standards for quality and production, contract regulations, policies and guidelines
Correct keying errors as noted by system edits
Accurately use medical review forms and all available reference materials
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion
Standard office equipment
Preferred
Ability to accurately key 5000 ksph or 35 wpm
Intermediate in word processing, spreadsheet application, and database software
