Responsibilities

Designs database, data models, data warehouse applications and Business Intelligence reports through the use of best practices and tools

Evaluates reusability of current data for separate analyses, translates business needs into long-term architecture solutions for client, delivers high quality data architect related outcomes including data warehouse designs and data system enhancements in accordance with existing standards and guidelines

Analyzes business needs, working with project staff to make decisions and recommendations on the future of data architect development

Conducts data sheering to rid the system of old, unused or duplicate data. Reviews object and data models and the metadata repository to structure the data for better management and quicker access

Resolves routine issues with business analysts and technology teams by providing advice on data warehousing methods and approaches

Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned
