Program Manager II - NYC Partnership Women’s and Reproductive Health - Global Health ISM

Responsibilities
Collaborate with Principal Investigator to prepare proposals for grant submissions and/or funding continuation from extramural sponsors
May perform needs assessments and analyses regarding community and participants’ needs for the basis of program development
Provide support and guidance to research groups and assist Principal Investigator in submitting IRB applications and progress reports
Work with Principal Investigator to help her meet targets and milestones (ensure timely and accurate submission to IRBs, sponsors, and grants management)
Support research dissemination efforts, including manuscript preparation, presentations, and stakeholder engagement. Collaborate with the communications teams on public outreach, presentation and collateral development, and web site and social media content related to Principal Investigator’s portfolio
Execute project management and research coordination processes and methodologies to ensure research goals are delivered on time or revised within the budget
Responsible for assembling project plans, team and work assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts daily, identifying resource needs, performing the quality review, and escalating functional, quality, and timeline issues appropriately. This includes hiring program staff, performance appraisal evaluations, promotions, transfers and other personnel transactions in collaboration with Principal Investigator
Support research analyses for both quantitative and qualitative data
Responsible for tracking proposals and other documentation through signature/and approval processes in collaboration with the Grants Management and IRB department
The Program Manager leads the programmatic preparation, submission, and management of grants and contracts. This role includes independently handling procurement transactions and working closely with the AIGH Grants & Finance Team to ensure compliance with sponsor and institutional requirements for financial accuracy. The Program Manager drafts budgets and budget justifications, with support from the AIGH Grants & Finance Team, and makes financial recommendations under the Partnership Faculty Lead’s approval. The role also involves coordinating with the H+H/Elmhurst Central Office. Additionally, the Program Manager reviews monthly financials, participates in monthly financial meetings, and addresses any discrepancies with the AIGH Grants & Finance Team
Serve as a critical role as liaison, facilitate meetings between project stakeholders, consultants and leadership, complete and maintain documentation for projects and deliverables
Supervise engaged students and trainees in collaboration with Principal Investigator
Performs other related duties
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or greater preferred, or a combination of applicable experience and education
