The Revenue Cycle Lead is responsible for operational support to the Revenue Cycle team, including training, problem resolution, and maintaining process documentation.

Responsibilities

Provides daily operational support to both the supervisor and the front line staff of the assigned Revenue Cycle team

Serving as the first point of contact for questions and escalations

Helping to research and resolve problems and issues

Training and coaching

Developing and maintaining standard process documentation

Training materials and job aids

Assisting with work quality audits

Work in production for some portion of their FTE

Cover staffing gaps as assigned

Qualification

Health care revenue cycleCMS/Medicaid regulationsCommercial payer billingProcess improvementTraining adults

Required

High school diploma or equivalent experience

Minimum two (2) years health care revenue cycle experience in authorization, utilization management, health services billing follow-up, financial services/counseling, or payment posting function

Technical experience in CMS/Medicaid regulations and/or Commercial payer billing requirements

Concrete experience with applicable process improvement, training, special projects, or serving as a first line resource in the applicable work

Preferred

Three (3) or more years of relevant experience

Formal experience leading or training adults

Progressive leadership roles/experience
