Responsibilities
Provide advanced engineering services for the planning, design, and construction of electric distribution projects
Directs, coordinates, and reviews work activities and work product of engineers, technicians, lighting specialists, and construction coordinators
Provide technical project management for all phases of a project including design, estimates, engineering specifications, drawings, materials procurement, construction contracts, scheduling, cost tracking and project cost projections
Oversee or conduct advanced engineering studies and complex investigations, prepare oral and written reports of results, and provide recommendations from the studies/investigations
Provides internal training and advanced engineering assistance for distribution engineering personnel and other departments
Develops well-documented work and system processes to support communications, work flow, and project scheduling
Responsibilities may include talent development, performance management, development of training, internal and external presentations, chairing committees, and additional responsibilities as requested
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field
Six years of successful industry experience in engineering or related field
Effective verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills
Effective interpersonal skills and leadership abilities
Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
Advanced project management skills; ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently
Must be able to meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
Preferred
Advanced degree is preferred
