Responsibilities

Create 3D BIM drawing models for plumbing and mechanical piping systems

Produce spool sheets, shop drawings, installation drawings, material lists, and point layout files for fabrication for field staff

Produce coordination files and point loads and coordinate piping and plumbing systems with other trades

Effectively communicate to provide updates to Project Managers, Project Engineers, field Foremen, Shop Foreman, General Contractors, and other team members during construction process

Provide updates to Project Managers, Detailing Team Leaders, field Foremen and other team members by attending coordination and internal BIM meetings

Attend industry related educational courses and/or conferences and review new related software to stay abreast of current trends, products, productions tools and best practices and share knowledge gained with peers

Required

Minimum of five years in the plumbing and steam fitting apprenticeship

Minimum of five years of directly related experience which aligns with the essential functions responsibilities outlined

Thorough knowledge and understanding of plumbing, piping, and HVAC piping systems

Plumbing and hydronic license

Valid driver's license

Excellent organization and communication skills

Ability to perform quickly and effectively under pressure and deadlines

Proven dependability

Strong problem solving and leadership skills

Must be proficient in Revit, Navisworks, ACC, Stratus, Excel, Bluebeam, and Outlook

Ability to read construction documents, product literature, specifications and cut sheets

Strong mechanical aptitude and good math skills

Proven ability to partner with design teams and field personnel

Ability to work on multiple projects and multi-task effectively
