Public Safety
Responsibilities
Perform active surveillance for mosquito larvae within the District
Treat water sites and storm drains as required
Read maps and drive throughout the District in company vehicles
Qualification
Required
Must be 18 years of age or older
Have good communication skills
Possess a valid driver's license along with a good driving record
The ability to pass a Department of Agriculture exam pertaining to pesticides - study materials are provided
Able to lift, bend, twist, walk while carrying weight exceeding 50lbs
Able to walk long distances over uneven terrain for periods exceeding 2 hours
