LEAN Continuous Improvement Engineer

FirstHealth of the Carolinas is seeking an experienced Continuous Improvement Engineer/Lean Coach to advance and scale Lean practices within the organization. The role involves developing relationships with leadership and staff to foster a culture of problem-solving and continuous improvement, utilizing Lean tools to enhance processes and deliver value.

Responsibilities

Utilize expertise in Lean tools to decrease waste & deliver value to customers
View complex processes & problems and communicate them in simple understandable terms
Use analytical and problems-solving skills to conduct root cause analysis & implement solutions
Coach & facilitate multidisciplinary teams in continuous improvement, change management & Lean leader behaviors using basic & advanced process improvement principles & A3 Thinking
Interact with staff, providers & leaders across the organization and at all levels

Qualification

Lean CertificationSix Sigma EquivalentContinuous ImprovementProcess ImprovementAnalytical SkillsChange ManagementCoaching SkillsHealthcare ExperienceProblem-Solving Skills

Required

Bachelor's degree or higher from accredited institution in industrial engineering, business, healthcare or related field required
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in continuous/performance improvement or process/management engineering
Lean Certification/Six Sigma Equivalent required

Preferred

RN Preferred
Operations management experiences preferred
Clinical &/or healthcare experience is a plus
