Responsibilities
Build and manage leveraged acquisition models
Conduct financial analyses to support internal decision-making and project evaluations
Prepare models, materials, and sensitivities for equity and debt stakeholders
Support corporate risk management and insurance reporting activities
Compile, analyze, and report operational and financial data for management and operations teams
Partner with engineering to ensure financial models reflect current reserve forecasts and assumptions
Maintain credit evaluations for major counterparties
Manage and extract data from the Company’s reserve database in collaboration with the Reservoir Engineering team
Support execution of the Company’s hedging strategies
Assist in preparing investor materials, including quarterly Board of Managers presentations
Support compliance and reporting requirements related to the Company’s credit facility
Track and report on derivative positions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Engineering required
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Creative problem-solving mindset
High attention to detail and accuracy
Discretion and sensitivity to confidential information
Ability to work independently and make informed decisions
7+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis within the oil and gas industry
Prior experience in the oil and gas industry is required
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Familiarity with reservoir databases (ARIES, BOLO, ComboCurve, etc.) is required
