Responsibilities

Develop complex global category strategies
Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver meaningful business value
Collaborate with stakeholders across divisions to develop and execute multi-year sourcing strategies
Optimize spend, reduce risk, and support our mission
Analyze market intelligence
Conduct supplier negotiations
Implement innovative solutions to achieve cost savings and operational excellence
Act as a trusted advisor to business partners
Manage key performance indicators including savings, supplier rationalization, and risk management
Enhance procurement practices and develop strategic supplier partnerships across a global organization

Required

Advanced Degree plus 6 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of procurement/sourcing experience in mid to large multinational companies
Strong category management experience with demonstrated success in cost savings
Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and influencing without direct authority
Advanced negotiation and contract management skills
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute multi-year category strategies
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Excellence in stakeholder management and executive-level communication
Experience with e-sourcing tools and procurement systems
Knowledge of supplier performance management and continuous improvement methodologies
Project management expertise and ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives
Demonstrated success achieving consistent results in a continuous improvement environment
Proficiency in MS Office suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools
Strong business acumen and ability to align procurement strategies with business objectives
Ability to travel as needed up to 50%

Preferred

Preferred Fields of Study: Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related technical field
Professional certification (CPSM or equivalent) preferred
Experience in regulated industries (life sciences, medical device, or pharmaceutical preferred)
Experience in professional development of team members preferred
Collaborative working style with excellent interpersonal skills
Experience with sustainability, diversity and risk management initiatives preferred
