Responsibilities
Supervise the daily work of the institution's dental staff
Be responsible for all aspects of the clinical dental services provided to the inmate population, including periodic examinations, diagnosing oral diseases, and treating injuries
Provide basic dental care and perform all dental treatment
Assist specialists in the performance of treatment and related duties while on-site
Assure that adequate security, tool control, and Toxic and Caustic Control are carried out within the dental office
Consult with and refer inmate patients to physicians, oral surgeons, and other health care professionals
Qualification
Required
Graduation from an approved school of dentistry
You must possess a license to practice dentistry issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Dentistry
Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required
You must be able to perform essential job functions
You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements
