Legal Assistant
Quarles & Brady LLP is seeking an enthusiastic and proactive professional legal assistant for their Tucson office. This role involves supporting various practice groups and requires resourcefulness, initiative, and strong organizational skills.
Law Practice
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive support to 3–4 senior attorneys in all aspects of case management
Prepare, proofread, and finalize legal documents with precision and attention to detail
Handle e-filing in state, federal, and appellate courts
Maintain and organize legal files, reports, and case documents
Manage litigation docketing calendar and monitor scheduling deadlines
Enter time charges into the billing system and process expense reports
Maintain attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate conferences
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5+ years of experience in a law firm environment
Exceptional technical skills, including MS Word, MS Outlook, PowerPoint, and Adobe
Strong organizational, communication, and client service skills
Detail-oriented with excellent grammar and spelling skills
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Preferred
Experience in the areas of Intellectual Property, Trust & Estates, and Environmental law preferred
Experience with FileSite document management systems a plus
