Responsibilities
Collaborate with clinical and operational stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for Epic applications
Translate business needs into functional specifications and workflows within Epic modules
Support build, configuration, and testing activities for Epic applications, ensuring alignment with organizational standards
Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and optimization projects
Troubleshoot issues and provide Tier 2 support for Epic-related incidents
Develop and maintain documentation for processes, workflows, and system configurations
Facilitate communication between technical teams and business users to ensure successful project delivery
Assist in training and knowledge transfer for end-users and team members
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business, Healthcare, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience as a Business Analyst in healthcare IT or similar environment
Solid understanding of healthcare workflows and clinical processes
Proficiency in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder communication
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Epic certification or proficiency in Beaker CP and/or AP or additional modules (e.g., EpicCare Inpatient, Orders)
Hands-on experience with Epic Beaker CP and/or AP applications
Experience with system testing, validation, and change management processes
Familiarity with HL7 interfaces and healthcare data standards
Experience in large-scale implementation or optimization projects
Solid facilitation and presentation skills
Knowledge of regulatory requirements (HIPAA, Meaningful Use)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
