HR Compliance Administrator

48forty Solutions is the largest pallet management services company in North America. They are seeking an HR Compliance Administrator to ensure compliance with federal employment eligibility verification requirements, manage Form I-9 completion and audits, and oversee E-Verify submissions.

Responsibilities

Administer and monitor the completion of Form I-9 for all new hires within the required timelines
Conduct regular audits of I-9 forms to ensure accuracy and compliance with federal regulations
Manage E-Verify submissions and resolve any tentative non-confirmations (TNCs) promptly
Maintain secure and organized electronic and/or physical I-9 records in accordance with retention requirements
Provide training and guidance to HR staff and hiring managers on I-9 compliance procedures
Stay current on changes to immigration and employment eligibility laws and update internal processes accordingly
Respond to government audits or inquiries related to I-9 documentation
Develop and implement best practices for I-9 compliance and risk mitigation

Required

2 or more years of experience in HR compliance or employment eligibility verification
Familiarity with E-Verify and electronic I-9 systems
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proven experience managing multiple projects at once with urgency
Knowledge of federal immigration and employment laws
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Must be Bilingual - English and Spanish

Preferred

Associate or Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
PHR or SHRM-CP certifications
I-9 and E-Verify compliance training certifications
