Responsibilities
Design and develop new features for software deployed on routers and switches
Write high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested code
Participate in service operations, troubleshooting, and incident response
Collaborate with teammates to deliver reliable and scalable components
Contribute to improvements in testing, automation, and operational robustness
Qualification
Required
Strong fundamentals in operating systems and networking (L2/L3/Routing/Switching)
Hands-on experience with C/C++, Go, Rust, or Python
Familiarity with Linux-based production environments
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences
Comfort working in a collaborative, agile development environment
Preferred
Understanding of object-oriented design and SDK development, especially in a cloud environment
Familiarity with distributed computing and cloud-based platforms
Understanding of cross-functional platform feature areas in cloud platforms

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
