Chartway Credit Union is inviting interns to join their Summer Internship Program, offering real-world experience and professional growth. The IT System Administrator Intern will support the creation of ServiceNow service maps and document critical application dependencies.

Responsibilities

Support the organization's efforts in building accurate and comprehensive ServiceNow service maps for its top ten business-critical applications
Identifying, documenting, and mapping all infrastructure and application-level dependencies including servers, switches, databases, APIs, and other components required to support each critical application

Qualification

IT infrastructure knowledgeServiceNow familiarityMicrosoft Visio proficiencyAnalytical skillsCommunication skillsProblem-solving skillsTeam collaborationAdaptability

Required

Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Foundational knowledge of IT infrastructure (servers, networking, databases, etc.) and enterprise applications
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Proficiency in Microsoft Visio or similar diagramming tools
Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new tools and technologies
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred

Familiarity with ServiceNow, CMDBs, or service mapping tools is a plus
Prior exposure to systems administration, networking, or application support is a bonus
