Accountant II
Regal Rexnord is a publicly held global industrial manufacturer, and they are seeking an Accountant II to support the Cambridge Finance Department. This role involves preparing and analyzing financial reports, supporting the monthly close process, and ensuring data accuracy for local operations teams.

Responsibilities
Independently prepare and analyze key daily, weekly, and monthly reports
Prepare and review certain monthly closing journals, reconciliations, and supplemental data
Supports the monthly close process, including the preparation and review of key reports utilized in balance sheet and income statement analysis
Provide support for local operations teams related to monthly and weekly KPI tracking, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness
Ensure Capital projects are closed and tracked properly
Prepare Percentage-of-Completion report for certain projects
Review and approve invoices through the automated invoicing system
Oversee, with support from plant controller, cycle counting activities and physical inventory control per company standards
Assist Controller in forecast and budgeting processes
Verifies financial data and identifies and investigates irregularities
Utilize continuous improvement skills to drive improvements in financial reporting
Provides data as requested to internal and external auditors for the plant finance department
Provides back up for the Controller in standard reporting and analysis responsibilities
Performs tasks in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Qualification
Required
B.S. in Accounting, Finance or related field or equivalent experience
2 - 4 years of increasingly responsible accounting experience
Strong knowledge of GAAP
Detail oriented
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
SAP experience required
